Healthy Fruit and Vegetable Juices
Healthy fruit and vegetable juices are delicious, full of zest, energy and very easy to make. I have always found reasons not to make my own juices, the primary excuse I would always use is that there is so much cleaning up to do. Well, in today’s technology filled world, where every tool for convenience is moving at rapid speed it is easy to find a blender, juice or food processor that is so efficient and the clean up would be just one container that you can drink from and that is all the clean up you have to do. So, now I have become a happy fan of making my own healthy drinks and am recommending to many.
This is a whole new way of healthy snacking, keeping my body nourished with precious vitamins and minerals and at the same time keeping my body hydrated. Remember that our bodies are made up of 70% water, so, to have an overall healthy body with a great immune system to keep us free from sickness, we must drink at least 8 cups of water each day and juices can help meet the quota.
Fruit and vegetable juices are great for those people who are looking for a shinning and glowing skin, people who are looking to be slimmer, and people who wants to clear their body system of toxic waste. As we age, we continue to be exposed to the toxic in the environment, in the foods we eat and in the medicine or drugs we take. It is common that fruit juices are also valued and taken as natural home remedies for common ailments as they are easy to prepare, delicious to drink and most important easily assimilated into the bloodstream to be distributed to all the vital body organs for cell growth and repair. Fruit and vegetable juices have laxative qualities to help to regulate bowel movement.
Do not take the easy way out and get your fruit and vegetable juices off the shelf. These are loaded with sugar, coloring, preservative and other non-nutritional material which you do not want to abuse your body with. To get as much nutrients as possible from fruit and vegetables juices, take care to ensure freshness and once blended or juiced the drink is to be consumed immediately as the precious nutrients are easily and quickly oxidised when exposed to air and the live enzymes that is the most preious nutrients of all do not last long. So, drink up right from the cup of the blender as soon as you stop blending. Do not add sugar to your drink as it is not necessary as most fruits and vegetables are sweet as they are and you can always mix and match the sour fruits or the bland vegetables with sweet fruits to get the mix of your liking.

Juices provide a feeling of “fullness” so this will curb excessive eating and cravings for more food.
