Today, DRA Global announced the sale of key assets and liabilities comprising the G&S Engineering Services and G&S Support Services business, to KAEFER Integrated Services Pty Ltd.

Queensland-based G&S offers services to the Australian resources sector, with a focus on maintenance services and SMPEI construction services.

DRA Interim CEO, James Smith said, the sale comes after a strategic review by DRA to ensure the Group is focused on its core strengths of project engineering and management, and operations management.

“On behalf of DRA, we are pleased to announce this sale of G&S to KAEFER. G&S has been an important part of the DRA Group for nearly four years and during that time we have worked together to deliver key projects in the APAC region. After a strategic review of the Group, we believe the G&S business will be best served under the ownership of KAEFER, where it can benefit from having an owner that is strategically aligned and can provide greater investment and management focus. We wish G&S and KAEFER all the best for the future.”

Both DRA and KAEFER are working together to ensure a smooth transition of ownership.
The sale is subject to a number of conditions being met; however, is due for completion before the September 2022 quarter end.
