On 11 August 2025, DRA Global Limited’s (DRA) wholly owned subsidiary DRA Americas Inc (DRA Americas) along with other contractual parties received a notice of dispute from Pueblo Viejo Dominicana Jersey 2 Limited (Pueblo Viejo), a joint venture between Barrick Gold Corp. (Barrick) and Newmont Corporation. Barrick is the operator of the Pueblo Viejo Mine in the Dominican Republic.
The notice relates to a conveyor collapse that occurred at the Pueblo Viejo Mine in 2023 and alleges a potential claim against DRA Americas and other contractual parties for approximately US$65 million.
DRA, DRA Americas and their insurers are currently investigating, and assessing the merits of and defences to, the potential claim set out in the notice of dispute.
DRA will update shareholders of any material developments regarding the notice of dispute.
